I'm looking around on a social site and I see this ad for a lingerie brand. I click the link to check it out further and there is another link for sizing.
So I go look at their sizing method and this is what I find...
First, they want a measure above the bust, this is for band size.
Then they want standing measure across the fullness of the bust. Alright, let's look at the first measure.
Measuring above the bust gets a bust measure, Not the band size. The band is worn Under the bust, not above it. All they will get with that measure is cup size.
Then, the second measure is bust measure, standing with a bra on. Wearing a bra while measuring is going to give that bra measurement. If there is quad in the cups, the measurement won't catch the tissue overflow.
That's why we teach measuring bra off with standing and bending measure, making sure each inch is Only breast measure and not a bra that doesn't fit.
On the upside of this lingerie company, they have the first front closing bra in larger cup sizes.
