New 'Bra' Line BUT.....

Post by Admin on Wed Nov 23, 2016 5:43 pm

New 'Bra' Line BUT.....:

most brassieres are based on a torturous design from the 1900s (which was itself an improvement on the even more torturous corset). Over-the-shoulder straps and a fastener in the back don’t provide enough support for larger breasts

There has been much misinformation about correct bra fit.
From "Bra 101" aka how to measure from differing brands and sites to incorrect fittings: plus 4, measured over clothes/jackets, fitters telling customers that their bra fits when they look like this

To never had a fitting and guessed about how the bra should fit. Many have believed that the straps are for support and the gore is just a fabric to hold the cups together.
Also, the thinking that cleavage ( quad boob) is the way bras are supposed to be.

How To Measure For Correct Bra Fit

What is necessary for a bra to fit correctly is knowing your measurements both under-bust and bust so you will know your band size and cup size. The band should be snug on the loosest  setting, the straps cinched 20%. Once your bra is on, swoop & scoop to make sure the cups fit and there is no overflow.

A snug band and cups that fit with a gore that tacks will support and be comfortable. Shoulder indents are gone because the straps are only 20 percent of lift. The band is doing all the work . The bra will support larger breasts and be comfortable
